My name is Andrea Jones & I am SO excited to be co-hosting Circle City Chatter.

I am sort-of an Indy newbie - I moved here with my husband, TJ, and our dog, Boo, in October 2021. We live in Bates Hendricks, just south of Fountain Square! I recently left my full-time job to pursue my wedding planning business @j2weddingco_, as well running an online boutique with my momma @boutique46.10

Why Indy? I love how close knit the community is here & I love the importance that small/local business has on the local economy. Everyone I’ve talked to has been so passionate about their favorite small businesses. I am so excited to be able to shine a light on several of Indy’s small businesses - the popular ones and the hidden gems!

I’m Shay McCoy and I’m thrilled to be hosting the Circle City Chatter podcast along with Andrea! I’m a huge podcast lover so it only made sense to start one!

I’m an Indy transplant and Iowa native, I moved here almost 5 years ago to get my masters degree in Museum Studies. Jobs were tough to find so I turned to blogging for a creative outlet and started City of Shay, a lifestyle, local culture, and affordability blog that helps young people live a full life in the city of Indy! I also have a 9-5 doing all things social in the hospitality industry!

My favorite thing about Indy is that there’s always something to do but it never feels too overwhelming, and everyone is all about community over competition! We are ecstatic to introduce you to all the amazing small businesses we have here and learn how you can support them.
